PM, Pranab, PC main players in spectrum saga

NEW DELHI: Like Hamlet’s ghost, the ghost of the 2G scam hovers around the head of UPA’s Mr Clean, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. His finance minister Pranab Mukherjee has put him in a spot through the note indicating that his bête noire and Home Minister P Chidambaram had a role to pay in the allotment of spectrum that began under Dayanidhi Maran’s tenure as telecom minister in UPA I in 2006.
