PM feigns ignorance

Nobody should be surprised by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s statement that he fully trusts Mr P Chidambaram, whose role in the 2G Spectrum scam while he was Union Minister for Finance is now being questioned. The Prime Minister has always had ‘implicit faith’ in him throughout the journey when the 2G Spectrum scandal was given shape and executed by then Union Telecom Minister A Raja, with the then Finance Minister apparently playing along.
