CBI unable to persuade SC on scrutinising P Chidambaram’s role

The Supreme Court on Wednesday did not agree with the CBI contention that it did not have the jurisdiction to issue a directive to probe Home Minister P Chidambaram’s role in the 2G spectrum when the case was before the trial court during the framing of charges.
