India supports ‘freedom of navigation’ in South China Sea

India on Thursday rebuffed Chinese claims of “indisputable sovereignty” over South China Sea where the ONGC Videsh plans to undertake oil exploration in two Vietnam blocks. China had asked India and other countries to refrain from oil exploration in maritime areas offered by Vietnam in South China Sea.
