Arab Spring is fast turning into Islamist Winter

This past Friday as thousands of rioters in Cairo scaled the building where the Israeli Embassy occupies the top two floors and vandalised the mission’s offices before tearing down the Jewish nation’s flag and burning it — that alone is a reprehensible act which must be condemned in the strongest possible terms — they sent out a clear message that the Arab Spring is fast turning into a long and bitter Islamist Winter.
