CAG: How to bring home the barrel

The main objectives of the performance audit of hydrocarbon PSCs were to verify a) whether the systems of MoPNG and DGH to monitor and ensure compliance by the operators and contractors of the blocks with the terms of the PSCs were adequate and effective, and b) whether the revenue interests of the Government (including royalty and share of profit) were properly protected, and whether effective mechanisms were in position for this purpose.
