After Reddy, CBI heat on Jaganmohan

The arrest of G Janardhan Reddy on Monday dealt a big blow to Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, even as the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh, which had initially sought the CBI investigation into illegal mining in December 2009, remained silent. The same team from CBI’s Hyderabad Zone led by Joint Director V V Lakshminarayana, which is investigating the illegal mining case and arrested Janardhan Reddy on Monday, is also investigating Jaganmohan.
