It would be 'unwise' to directly target Col Gaddafi, Robert Gates warns

Asked about remarks by British counterpart Liam Fox suggesting targeting Gaddafi himself, Mr Gates said the allied operation should stick to the parameters as authorised by the UN Security Council.
