Jinxed Lokpal Bill spelt death knell for Govts

The Lokpal Bill, which captured the imagination of the nation due to Anna Hazare’s movement, has had a jinxed effect on successive Governments and even on the Congress since 1968 — barring an exception. Governments having tryst with this legislation have either failed to complete their full term or didn’t return to power.
