Singhvi to push Rahul line in panel

Parliamentary Standing Committee chairman Abhishek Manu Singhvi on Monday made it clear that Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi’s suggestion for making Lokpal a Constitutional body ranks high on the agenda of his panel. He termed it as the “ultimate desirable object or destination” but clarified that it was not a “delaying/derailing tactics”— a charge levelled by Gandhian Anna Hazare’s associates.
