The positive atmospherics when the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan met in New Delhi yesterday stood in welcome contrast to the disastrous meeting in Islamabad in July last year - when erstwhile Pakistani foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi openly squabbled with his Indian counterpart, S M Krishna.
