Nothing in new farm laws 'compulsory,' all 'optional': PM Modi in Lok Sabha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday reiterated that the provisions made in the new farm laws are optional, nothing is compulsory and the old system still continues. He also emphasised that the wholesale markets and the system of minimum support price (MSP) have not been discontinued after enactment of the new agri laws.
