Motown grinds to a halt

India's first Motown is under the cosh. An incendiary mix of disparate locals and extraneous influences is acting as a massive deterrent to progress. The Gurgaon-Manesar industrial corridor, replete with Maruti Suzuki, Hero Motor Corp, Suzuki Motorcycles and Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda Motor Co Japan, is a huge automotive sprawl. There are numerous vendors who have built successful businesses by being part of this automobile corridor.
