RSS move to push Gadkari for 2nd term may trigger crisis within BJP

With its ideological parent Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) suggesting a second term for Nitin Gadkari as president, the strife within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may intensify, say analysts and party leaders. It may also provide a fillip to Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi’s national ambitions, they add. The RSS proposal appears to have upset a group within the party that has been, for some time now, miffed with Gadkari’s style of functioning.
