MCD poll forecast: LensOnNews scores again

The BJP has swept to power in all the three newly-created municipal corporations of Delhi – exactly as predicted by the LensOnNews poll published last Thursday, April 12. See our article, Delhi’s civic elections turning out to be a referendum on Sheila’s government. We had said that price rise and corruption were the main issues animating the voters and their anger is directed mainly against the state and Central governments, and that these elections would be a ‘prequel’ or semi-final to the assembly elections to come in 2013.
