The Samajwadi Party is inching towards simple majority in Uttar Pradesh and is likely to form the next government in the state. According to the leads from all the 403 seats, Mulayam Singh Yadav's Samajwadi Party is leading in close to 200 seats. Counting is underway in all the 403 seats and all results are expected by evening.
