Rahul Gandhi is not yet prime minister material

It is possible that the Nehru-Gandhi saga’s last chapter is currently being written. Rahul Gandhi may still become the prime minister because his sycophantic party cannot even think of an alternative. Moreover, there is no one in the Congress with pan-Indian appeal who can be a challenger. But, the chances of him making a dramatic impact on the Indian scene are remote. The reason is that there has been a gradual decline in the calibre of the family members through the years.
