Politicos set to feast while Anna fasts

Even as Indian news reports talked about Mr. Hazare’s ailing health on the ninth day of his hunger strike, leaders in Indian political circles were gearing up Wednesday for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s annual iftar party – the evening meal that breaks the fast at the end of each day during the Islamic month of Ramadan. The holiday of Eid ul-Fitr, which India will celebrate on Aug. 31, marks the end of fasting.
