Sonia, PM differ on Cabinet reshuffle

The Cabinet reshuffle intended to drop non-performers and those involved in corruption has got delayed following differences emerging between Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Sources said Sonia Gandhi will have the final word, while the prime minister has particularly contested the return of Punjab Governor Shivraj Patil and has opposed suggestions to change P Chidambaram’s ministry and profile.
