Declassify Henderson Brooks to overcome lingering trauma of 1962 war
In the aftermath of the 1962 China war, the Indian Army asked Lieutenant General T B Henderson Brooks and Brigadier P S Bhagat to conduct an operations review and determine where India had gone wrong. In the 50 years after the Henderson Brooks report was submitted, much of it has become public knowledge. Military officers and writers have come up with their accounts of India's defeat. Some of these have reflected the conclusions of the Henderson Brooks report.
