Ghosts of 1962 haunt India

The truth about India's embarrassing military defeat at the hands of the Chinese in 1962 is finally out in the open. The long suppressed classified Henderson Brooks report blames Jawaharlal Nehru's 'Forward Policy' and an ill-prepared army for the debacle. A large section of the report, completed in 1963 but never released on the grounds that it contained sensitive operational details, was recently posted by Australian journalist Neville Maxwell in his blog.
