Gujarat is criticized for its performance on social sector indicators and this includes health. Any critique should be careful about choice of indicator (different indicators can show different trends), source of data and year of data. In addition, is one tracking Gujarat's improvement (or deterioration) over time, or making comparisons with other States? Data I am going to use come from Planning Commission sources.
