Congress dreams crash; TRS refuses to board sinking ship

In deciding against merging his Telangana Rashtra Samithi with the Congress, Mr K Chandrashekar Rao has demonstrated political pragmatism. There appeared no sense in the idea of merger, since the Congress would not be bringing any tangible gain to the TRS on the table. The TRS reigns supreme in the Telangana region and is likely to do very well on the Lok Sabha seats from there, while the Congress is a bit player.
