BJP goes flat out for 272

Political developments have taken place at a fast and furious pace over the last week. From all accounts the apparently straightforward Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has “conspired” to split the Rashtriya Janata Dal led by the not-so-straightforward Lalu Prasad, by weaning away some of his MLAs. Perhaps, Nitish has been spooked by the latest poll surveys giving his party a major thumbs down in the coming Lok Sabha polls.
