Open up: Globalisation is good for growth and welfare

One of the first policy actions of Aam Aadmi Party's short-lived government in Delhi was to announce that it would rescind Sheila Dikshit government's decision to allow FDI in Delhi's retail sector. The anti-FDI position of RSS and the left faction within BJP is very similar to that of leftists in Congress. There is therefore a danger that the manifestos of several parties may take an anti-FDI stand.
