Why a third front can't work

Ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha elections, the broad contours of the so-called Third Front emerged on Wednesday with 11 non-Congress and non-BJP parties coming together to act as a single block in Parliament. The grouping also decided to take up pro-people issues and oppose communalism.
