A scandal in Srinagar

Over the last few years, the Congress has had a tie up with the National Conference (NC) party in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). This alliance was formed after an earlier one with the People’s Democratic Party soured. Today, the glue is weak and the relationship with NC is under severe stress. What went wrong? Like any party that has held power for some time, the popularity of the NC is starting to wear thin at the edges.
