Stung by son, Karunanidhi scurries to revive Cong tie-up

Alarmed by the open defiance of his elder son, MK Alagiri, despite his suspension from the party on the charge of indiscipline, DMK chief M Karunanidhi has pressed the panic button. Hectic parleys are on at his residences at Gopalapuram and CIT Colony (where his wives Dayalu Ammal and Rajathi Ammal stay respectively) in Chennai to revive the ties with the Congress.
