Recent opinion polls are a reality check

There is an obvious difference between opinion polls and actual election results. The latter constitutes reality and the former determines the buzz in the months leading up to the real event. India is still at least four months away from the time voters wait in queue to determine who becomes their MP and by association, which party or alliance forms the next Government at the Centre.
