Oil production: Kelkar panel bats for output-sharing regime

A high-level committee headed by Vijay Kelkar, which has made out a strong case for moving back to production sharing contracts or PSC for oil exploration projects, says that it would lead to an extra 7 billion barrel of oil equivalent of production valued at $700 billion in comparison with the current revenue-sharing regime.
