India hits back as Devyani returns

In a retaliatory action, soon after its diplomat Devyani Khobragade was asked to leave the US, India on Friday expelled a senior American diplomat who was reportedly involved in the “evacuation” of the family of Khobragade’s maid Sangeeta Richards. The director rank diplomat was given “a little more than 48 hours” to leave New Delhi.
