BJP may junk plan to do away with taxes

The BJP is expected to junk the proposal to do away with all taxes, other than customs duty, and just impose a 2% levy on all bank deposits as top leaders are finding several gaps in the plan suggested by a Pune-based outfit that has already come under criticism from economists and experts.
