PM bares fangs BJP bites back

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's swan song degenerated into the starting point of a ferocious slugfest between the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday. Singh's press conference, only the third in the last decade, would have marked the beginning of the passing of the Congress baton to party vice-president Rahul but mutated into a frontal attack on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi instead.
