2014 polls: Two grand T alliances on cards

HYDERABAD: Two formidable alliances are taking shape against the background of formation of Telangana. While the TRS-Congress-MIM-CPI combine is aiming for a clean sweep in the Telangana region, the BJP-TDP alliance is being forged to take on the YSR Congress in the Seemandhra region. Significantly, the active foray of the BJP in the Seemandhra region after having championed Telangana earlier is playing a key role in the MIM joining the alliance in Telangana.
