The complications of government formation in New Delhi are reminiscent of the kind of zenana politics that existed in the Mughal harem with the key players adopting the traditional dramatis personae of the disgruntled older queen (BJP) the rightful stakeholder, the bewitching younger queen (AAP) who has found favour with the king (makers) and the impotent power player (Congress) who pulls the strings from behind, with the secure aim of staying relevant and enjoying the fall out, whatever it might be.
