Tirap-Changlang imbroglio: A creation of electoral politics

Given the volatile situation in two eastern districts of Arunachal Pradesh, no rigorous exercise of one’s mind is required to understand the fact that the State no longer remains an ‘island of peace’. The myth of Arunachal being a peaceful territory has been falsified by the writings of Padma Shri Mamang Dai (Living the Untold Myth), Jarpum Gamlin (ceremonial broken tapes played yet again) and Tongam Rina (Deafening Silence and Tirap).
