Permit spectrum trade, M&As will follow: Vodafone

A leading banker recently approached Vodafone India to ask if the telco would be interested in acquiring a mobile firm to which it had a huge exposure, CEO Marten Pieters confirmed to The Indian Express on Thursday. Pieters said this in the context of telecom minister Kapil Sibal's statement that the government would announce new M&A guidelines by the end of the month.
