Congress bares intent to milk food programme

The government said it could bring edible oil and pulses under the ambit of the food law in future, calling it a "game-changer" for the poor and launching a campaign to make political capital of the scheme no sooner had President Pranab Mukherjee signed the ordinance into law on Friday.
