Gas: The price we should pay

On the face of it, it is tempting and almost compelling to argue that if the US, which champions free markets and liberalisation around the globe, has natural gas prices hovering between $3.50 and $4 per unit, there is no way the Indian government should even consider a request to raise domestic prices above the prevailing $4.20 per unit.
