Centre kind to some, stingy with others

More and more states want a bigger share from the central pie. Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik organized a rally in Delhi on Wednesday to demand a better deal from the central government. Earlier in the year, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar had organized a rally to ask for special status, which means more central funds. Mamata Bannerjee has been demanding more funds for Bengal.
