Rising debt adds to woes of Indian airlines

A new report shows that a growing debt burden is adding to the woes of domestic airline companies, which are already under strain from rising input costs and shrinking traffic. The outlook for the firms is even more grim given that business is likely to get more competitive as overseas airlines invest in Indian aviation and look to take away market share from the incumbents.
