Mistry's power of one

A fortnight before hanging up his gloves as chairman of Tata Sons, the holding company of the group comprising roughly 100 corporations, Ratan Tata gave an interview to PTI in which he goaded his successor to be "...your own person. You should take your own call and you should decide what you want to do" were his words of advice to Cyrus Mistry, who picked up the reins as chairman when Tata's term ended on December 28.
