Nokia, Shell lash out at 'absurd' tax demand

Multinational companies Nokia and Shell on Tuesday slammed India's tax authorities for raising 'absurd and unacceptable tax demands', undermining the credibility of Finance Minister P Chidambaram's repeated promises to overseas investors that India would provide a non-adversarial and stable tax regime.
