Highways hit all-time low

With less than two months to go for the closure of the financial year, the national highway (NH) construction rate has come down to three kms each day. As against seven kilometres average for the entire year, only three kms of  new roads were added per day during the last six months. In 2012-13 financial year till now,  2,100-km roads were built, but in the last six months, it was just about 600 kms.
