Government serenades global investors
The Government of India is going out of its way to woo global investors. It has no choice, for nine years after promising investment flows, the realisation has dawned on the UPA that it remains in a capital, power, energy and infrastructure deficit. As such, it is attempting a calibrated push to attract investment, unleashing all its aces.
