Nov IIP down by 0.1% on mining, manufacturing

Industrial production contracted in November by 0.1 per cent, after posting a robust growth of 8.3 per cent in October, dragged down by lower output in the capital goods and intermediate goods sectors and a dip in mining activities. The base effect also contributed to the sharp downward swing in the November estimate of industrial production.
