The class of 2011

Two stories in the past few days have been very interesting. The first is the ranking published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS Ranking) of the top 100 Asian universities. IIT Kanpur stands at 36, IIT Delhi at 37, IIT Bombay at 38, IIT Kharagpur at 48, IIT Roorkee at 56, IIT Guwahati at 82. On this list, there are several other universities from Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
