Base price slashed 30% for spectrum unsold in 4 circles

The empowered group of ministers (EGoM) on telecom headed by finance minister P Chidambaram on Friday decided to lower by 30% the reserve price for spectrum in the four circles — Delhi, Mumbai Karnataka and Rajasthan — that did not receive any bids in the auctions held last month.
