Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's six-day visit to Africa kicked off on 23 May with the inauguration of the 2nd Africa-India Forum Summit in Addis Ababa. Accompanied in Ethiopia by a high profile delegation of ministers and India's most powerful chief executives, this is already the third visit to Africa by Manmohan Singh in his eight years as prime minister.
