I&B sets March 31 deadline for 38 more cities to go digital

With the first phase of digitization almost complete, the Centre has turned its attention to 38 cities in 15 states that will have to shift from analog to digital addressable systems. The next stage will predominantly focus on Maharashtra which includes nine cities, Uttar Pradesh (7) and Gujarat (5) that must shift to digital system by March 31, 2013.
